handing over of the palms

today we had the handing over of the palms in the church year six were given the palms to look after until next year when they will burn them for ashes for ash Wednesday. we feel very privileged to have the job.

pig day

Today at my school we had pig day. We had to dress up like a pig or wear pink and bring a gold coin for project compassion. It was so fun we had a parade and every class would walk in a line around the big circle to show all the other classes what they looked like, every one looked great. We raised around $900 or more. During the day some people from year 7 came around and gave 1st, 2nd and 3rd prises for the best dressed in that class. It must of been hard, because we all looked so good. All I can really say about pig day was that it was very, very piggy!!!
